Want to join in the fun? It will be one of the most physically demanding things you'll ever do, and it will be over in just a couple of minutes. If your team wins, your bragging rights are good for a whole year.
Here is the status of Tugs and captains so far:
- Men's Tug - Eastport captain Jess Pachler, Brett Curreton Annapolis captain
- Women's Tug - Megan Jones Eastport captain, Megan Curreton Annapolis captain
- CoEd Tug - Alexa Winters Eastport captain, Brett Curreton Annapolis captain
- Battle of the Bars (tug between bar patrons on both sides) - Jess Pachler Eastport captain, Connie Parks Annapolis captain
- Battle of the Bank & Brawn - Eastport captain Gretchen Stuecker, Annapolis captain Steve Kerstetter (Gold's Gym)

If you decide to tug, you'll be asked to sign a damage/injury waiver and to pledge as least $20, and encouraged to raise even more for our worthwhile charities. The Tugger's Info Packet also contains a recruitment form and a charity pledge form to help tuggers raise additional funds. You can use this to ask your friends to support you in this grand effort. It's very easy to ask people to support you... you'll be surprised how fast your pledge form fills up. Remember that it's all for a great cause... our local charities.
Remember the new time this year! Tugs begin promptly at 10:30 a.m., all the tugging will be over by 11:30 a.m., followed by music, food, and fun! You'll have to be on site by 9:30 a.m. to tug.
