more money we clear from the Tug of War, the more we can donate
to the Benefitting Charities.
To
make donations possible, we have created opportunities for local
businesses to sponsor entire teams or one or more tuggers.
Businesses
may also advertise on t-shirts, in the event program, on our mid-line
blimp, or on banners displayed before and during the event. |

We
also need individuals and businesses to donate items to our silent
auction. |

The
MRE Blimp
The
bright yellow MRE Blimp is literally the central point of the Tug.
It floats above the midpoint of the rope and as the tuggers move
it from side to side, its position determines which team wins. A
limited number of banners fly from the MRE Blimp to advertise their
sponsors' businesses.
The
MRE Tug T-Shirt
The
official MRE tuggers' t-shirt is a hit every year and worn by hundreds
of tuggers and Tug fans, literally, for months and years.
The
Event Program
Your
ad in the program will feature artwork you supply and opportunities
are available from full-page to business card size ads. Deadline
for the program is September 20. |
Sponsorships
Opportunties
are available at various levels to sponsor a team, general Tug activities,
the stage and the sound system. Sponsorship includes logo and name
on Tug T-shirts, posters and event banners, determined by level.
All
of these opportunities result in exposure for your business, but
as important is the fact that every dollar raised allows us to support
the very worthy local charities.
