Maritime Museum in Eastport

Barge House Becomes
Annapolis Maritime Museum

to tell the story of the maritime history we share

The Eastport Historical Committee has changed the name of The Barge House Museum to The Annapolis Maritime Museum as it seeks to expand the facility and make it a showcase of the area's maritime history. The Annapolis Maritime Museum (AMM) is a nonprofit research and educational organization whose mission is to document, collect, preserve, and interpret the maritime history of the greater Annapolis area and the watermen, boat builders, and yachtsmen who made this history.

The AMM plans to renovate the McNasby building at 723 Second Street in Eastport. Much help and money is needed to make this come true. Go to the museum's website and read all about it.

For more information call the AMM Board Chair, Peg Wallace, at 410 268-1802.
